We collect this information only with your consent, which you provide when you register and use the Platform. We collect mood and wellbeing data on the basis of your explicit consent, provided when you register and confirmed each time you complete a check-in. You may withdraw consent at any time by requesting account deactivation. Withdrawal of consent will result in the deletion of your personal data in accordance with Section 9 of this Policy.
Individual employee data is never shared with your employer.
If you access the Platform through a workplace subscription, your employer receives only anonymised, aggregate reports showing workforce-level wellbeing trends.
These reports are designed so that no individual can be identified. Specifically:

We do not share your personal information with any other third parties without your consent, except where required by law.
We may disclose your personal information if required to do so by law, court order, or where we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to protect the safety of any person, including in response to a mandatory reporting obligation.
As a registered psychologist, Nic Marcon is subject to mandatory reporting obligations under applicable legislation. These obligations apply to the in-house counselling service, not to Platform use. Platform use does not create a clinical relationship and does not trigger these obligations in relation to Platform data.
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your account and data are retained for 90 days before permanent deletion, to allow for reactivation if needed.
You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at tttd@emotionalbalance.com.au. We will confirm receipt and complete the deletion within 30 days, subject to any legal retention obligations (for example, financial records required under tax law).
Anonymised aggregate data derived from your usage (for example, workforce-level trend data in business reports) cannot be deleted as it contains no personal information and cannot be attributed to you.

The Platform uses Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to collect anonymised usage data. This helps us understand how the Platform is used so we can improve it. Data collected by these services is aggregated and does not identify individual users. Microsoft Clarity may record session interactions such as clicks and scrolls in anonymised form to help us identify usability issues.
The Platform may use cookies or local storage to maintain your session and preferences. These are functional and do not track you across other websites.
If you arrive at the Platform via a marketing link (for example, from an email, ad, or social media post), we set a first-party cookie recording which campaign referred you and the page you landed on. This is used only to understand which marketing channels lead to signups and is not shared with third parties or used to track you across other websites.
The Platform is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If we become aware that a person under 18 has provided personal information, we will delete it promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify active subscribers of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
